Yay! As I said to H, it's like when people try to save or plan for kids sometimes, and it never seems like the "right" time. We either make a commitment to helping, or we don't. So Spanky will come live with us for a while. He is 7, only has one eye, two bad knees, and some skin issues. I don't think he'll have a quick turn around, but that's ok. I bought him a new collar two nights ago so I was really hoping H would agree!

I melt.
Our vet had a kitty with one eye for adoption for a couple weeks. I wanted her so badly but Boyfriend really was resisting. Luckily our vet is amazing and adopted her out to this sweet older couple who had just lost their kitty. I have a soft spot for one eyed pets because of this one.
