August is the hottest it gets here, so that would be my last choice. You have a slightly higher chance of rain in November, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. I can understand not wanting to take a long flight when you're big and pregnant, though.

I think the differences in weather are minimal enough that how you think you'll feel should be the deciding factor. If it's cooler, but you're large and uncomfortable, then the weather isn't helping you out all that much, kwim?
I'm trying to get my sister out here early Oct, and she's about as far along as you (maybe a couple weeks different), so that's my rec
I've only been in march or April so I'm no help. But I wanna know which iskand(s) you are going to!! From a pg perspective, you tend to feel best in 2nd tri.
Yeah - kind of depends on which islands you are going to I think. I've been to Kauai in late November and been unable to get out in the water because the water was too cold (and the boats to the Na Pali coast weren't running because it was too rough). I didn't have this problem in Maui (been there in November and December).
I've been in August and I guess...kids are still out of school in August so that's something to keep in mind.

Hawaii schools start late July I think. Of course that still leaves plenty of mainland families to travel.
The water is a good point. There are definitely seasonal swimming spots. To me, the water is cool all year, even in summer, but I've learned to suck it up. I have been on a Na Pali coast cruise in Feb, and it was rough (10+ft seas), but it didn't bother me. Not pregnant, though.
