Lol I'd just make myself angry if I took it. I don't get modern art. I went to a traveling Degas exhibit, and the museum also had a modern art exhibit. A couple of paintings were just canvases painted one bright color. The card talked about how different colors of paint were layered to get that color, but I didn't see it.

I want to know which ones you got wrong.
I got 1 & 7 wrong. 1- I haven't seen a toddler have such good definition in areas of colour. Maybe a 5yo or older 7- the under layers & the blue line to the right don't look like toddler to me. I followed the link for the original image and it's a mess on a parent's palette in the parent's studio. So IT DOESN'T COUNT to me.
argh! I got two wrong. But this is the most infuriating quiz ever, because I can't tell which ones! Eff you, buzzfeed. Eff you.
It shows you right after the question whether you got it right or wrong, no?
I only got six right, lol.
Not on the buzzfeed app,but I retook it,and I got the first one wrong and the marbled one. So I looked in Pinterest and now I know that a kid could totally have done that lol
Last spring, Kirklette's 3 year old class held an art appreciation week. On one of the days, they studied architecture. That day, she came home with student work she created. Her "piece" consisted of a series of colorful tiny wooden cubes stylistically stacked together, and placed on construction paper.
The tag line her teacher placed at the bottom said, " Kirklette's piece was inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright".
Really chi chi nursery school, really? I think the only thing my 3 year old was "moved" by was the opportunity to use glue.
Oh that is VERY fancy, lol. Lucy totally got the references in Lady Gaga's new video, though, natch.
When each of my sisters and I were in Kindergarten, our parents had us do a painting with tempera paint on our little art easel. They had each of them professionally framed and matted and they're in their living room. One day, one of their art dealer friends was over and admiring my sister's work as being reminiscent of so-and-so.
My parents didn't have the heart to tell him who made it. LOL I'm totally doing this with my kids, by the way. They all still look cool, ahem, 30-something years later.
This is why I just bought a bunch of acrylic paint in different colors and I'm going to let my 3 yo have at it and that's going to be the "art" in her big girl room.
Frequently, when I'm looking at overnight art, I'm reminded of the children's book Olivia when she's looking at a Jackson Pollack painting "I can do that in about 5 minutes!"
