Does anyone here know how to care for a pepper plant? I have never had one before and have no idea if I need to do anything special with it, or if the peppers will stay little or get bigger. Help.
This is what it looks like, if that makes a difference.
Lots of sun, normal watering. Don't let it frost or freeze. Easy plant.
Okay, I am bad with plants, so this is probably a stupid question, but do I leave it in the container it came in or plant it into a bigger planter? Or can it not be in a planter? Can I leave it in my apartment by a window? Normal water is just checking to see if the soil is dry and then watering it?
Thanks for your help. I don't usually have plants because I tend to kill them. I want to try to keep this one alive.

Not stupid questions. Normal watering is checking to see if soil is dry or leaves are wilted. Then water by placing pot (which hopefully has holes at bottom) into dish of water, letting water soak into plant. Remove dish of water 20 minutes later. Probably will need to do once or twice a week. Apartment window is fine, but it might not fruit again that way. That's ok, as an ornamental might not have fruited again anyway. I would leave it in the pot it is in, unless when you try to remove the plant from the roots, it has the white roots going around and around the dirt on the outer edge. If there are those roots going around, then I would repot into a bigger pot. Hope that helps!

Thank you for your help! I appreciate it. Now maybe I will be able to keep the plant alive. *fingers crossed*
