I just found out that I will have a week off in mid-October and I am looking for somewhere to go. We will be flying from Dubai.
Constraints: Bringing a 21 month old (not shy about traveling with her, but may limit certain activities) Do not have any warm clothes with us - like not even a hoodie Prefer to keep the flights under $1k pp, less is obviously better; better still if we can fly on Star Alliance and use miles H would prefer to go to a country he hasn't visited
Places (nearby-ish) that we have visited: Oman, India, Nepal, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Kenya, Tanzania
@mx - I think my H and I will have to get second passports for work. Unfortunately, DD can't get a second as they will not issue them to minors. I don't think I want to mess with her potentially having an Israeli stamp...
I was checking out tickets to Myanmar earlier today. They are a bit pricey, but it has been on my 'to see' list for quite a while... Maybe we can swing it. This is kind of an unplanned vacation, but I hate to waste days off!
neeps - Jordan was my first thought as well. We may do that or may save it for when our families visit because they will likely stay for a month plus and we could run out of stuff to do with them here.
