I purchased a LLL Run Swiftly T-shirt last summer and wore it on a 20 miler - it rode up on me and I was constantly yanking it down. Does anyone else have this problem with LLL's RunSwiftly tops? I'm eyeing the half-zip Run Swiftly pullover but I'm scared it will ride up when I run:(
They ride up on silkier bottoms, absolutely. Not usually enough to bother me, as it seems to settle in near the back-zip pocket on my LLL bottoms, which isn't a deal-breaker for me. They are my favorite shirt, especially the long sleeves. I'm a bit bummed it'll be too warm for one this weekend.

YES!!! I tore my tags off, but bought 2 and have only worn them a couple of times. I don't know, but I think I may have purchased the "short" version, instead of the regular one. I'm going to LLL Friday and plan on comparing. So uncomfortable riding up.
They ride up on everything except my LLL & Athleta shorts. Like GRK mentioned, on silkier things like my Nike shorts , they definitely ride up. On the other shorts, they don't budge.

I did this! I realized this after I purchased two that are perfect length, and two that are a bit too long. I have a short torso.

i'll trade ya! ;-)
run swiftly has such fun colors, so I am mad at myself for purchasing the wrong length (I didn't try them on at the store). I didn't realize it until last week when I saw the short one on the website. ive had them in my drawer for months and never wear them because they fit poorly. at least I can go buy the regular ones now. I may sell the ones I have if the others fit better. too expensive to not be happy about my purchase!
Yeah, that sucks. My longer ones are only too long when they get saturated with sweat. They go from mid hip, to more than half way down my butt. I did the same thing as you. The first tank I bought was the shorter one (but I had no idea.) The next one I didn't try on, & it's probably two inches longer. I still buy them in either length because of the pretty colors. Put them on eBay. I'm always amazed that people often get close to full price there.
They ride up on me big time, and they get disgusting when soaked through with sweat. There is nothing cute or comfy about that tank bunching up past my bellybutton, full of sweat, and bouncing sweat droplets all over the place with every stride. I love LLL, but the swiftlies and I are just not meant to be.

jordylee, now that you mention it, I totally agree. Mine are always soaked in sweat. So much for wicking. I run in cool racer backs and have never had a problem.

haha, too big now, boo hoo! I want a new one for the marathon, but all the colors out now are fall-ish and dull. I wanted a bright color, but I don't want to wear a Swiftly! I wear the shit out of my CRBs, so they make up for the price. plus I have a giftcard leftover from christmas, so I cant complain ;-)
chitownbelle, I love the track and train I just got. Our LLL still had them in a bright blue color. It might be worth checking out other tops. I got the black, white, & grey striped one. I can't do the CRB. It's another short torso problem.
I'm so conflicted. My legs/muscles are happier with a bit of compression, and I've run long runs in capris in the 70's, but I think I'm going to bring both capri and short options. I once had a race go from a start temp of 45 down to 22 in a 3 day period. I trust nothing! lol Tomorrow we'll finally be able to 10 day weather stalk on weather.com...though I'm sure Accuweather is just as accurate.
ETA: Sorry we high jacked the thread, enfuego. At least we all answered the question!
Chances are high that most threads between now and 10/13 will be hijacked.
I'm definitely waiting to see how it looks on Thursday, and if I do go the crop route I think I may go return the ones I got for different ones. These are almost full length and something just below the knee would be better.

If you go that route, try the run for your life crop. I'm short, & they come just below my knee.

Check out the Mod Moves crops too. I ran with a them for my Half and they were awesome. Lots of pockets, two big ones on the side of your legs. I had my phone in one and gels in another.

This is my crop option in case the temp drops back to the beloved 40s I was so excited about! For now, my forecast is 60-80* with rain

went to LLL today, bought 3 CRBs (yay 2 on clearance), and tried on the regular Run Swiftly. Yup, the 2 I have are totally the short ones. Ugh. They keep that shit on the same rack!! And no one asks you at checkout "are you sure you want the short one?" like shoe stores check that the sizes match. Will prob put them up for sale at some point. Oh well. Got a new tank for the marathon, so, yay.

PIP so I can look for you in our corral...with like 5,000 other people!
This is the top I'll be in. As long as it doesn't get warmer, I'll probably still be in my black capris, and I'll be wearing a black Nike visor.
ETA: jordylee, what will you be wearing? I'm searching corral C for you & chitownbelle.
i'll probably be standing near the 3:45 pace group. i'll let you know my plan a week from now ;-)
last year i tried to find a friend who came in from AZ in the corral, but i almost didnt make it in time because of the bathroom line and didnt have time to search for him. he was injured and it took him 6hrs to finish... by the time he called me when he was done, i was a block from my house. so i missed him altogether.
