I enjoyed this episode more than the premiere.  Excited to see where this season goes with all the new characters.  

the new head of the record company is a DB.

Where do I know that actor from though?  It's driving me nuts

I also liked this episode more than the premiere.

The actor is Oliver Hudson (Kate Hudson's brother). He has been in a lot of random things, but I always remember him from Dawson's Creek.

It was a good episode. I like the idea of the new character from the singing show.

I like Avery's turn around the past few episodes. Not so much a dick as he was before.
I see a Rayna-Juliet team up in the future since they are both unhappy with the new record head.

Me too.

I like the new Scarlett, more backbone & more take charge. I really like her friend that moved to town too. 

I agree new head of the record company is a tool. Did anyone else notice he told his new singer (19yr) to get a drink at his party.

I think Gunnar might end up getting a deal with Highway 65 since Will went to Edgehill. Then I see him & Scarlett working together again, eventually getting back together. 

I was glad Deacon took his cast off & tried to play the guitar at the end. I predict Rayna's voice will be fine after some sort of therapy or treatment. (can they do voice/throat therapy?)

Yes! So much better than the premiere. I was worried the show was over but now I have hope totally digging the new Avery and finding him kind of hot definitely agree Gunnar will get in with highway 65 and liking Scarlett more too. She annoyed me a lot before. I think the gay singer will crash and burn which is too bad bc I like him.

I know this is an old thread, but I think its interesting that Chasity Pope from The Voice is now on Taylor Swift's record label. Art imitating life a little?

Me too. I love his character. He is such a fighter even when he is down. He just does not give up.

Am I the only freak who cried when Rayna was singing at the induction? When the crowd joined in, I lost it. Reminded me of the scene in "The Sound of Music" when the Captain can't finish "Edelweiss"...

I really liked Gunnar and Avery's song together. Adding Zoey made it good too. But sleeping together was just a bad idea.
I was really moved too when Rayna sang. And I'm sad that her dad didn't get arrested after she got the money for the buyout.

That song This Town (at the end with Deacon and Scarlett) is beyond awesome. Downloaded it from iTunes right away.

I loved this song! Eh, I kind of like them together, more so than gunnar and scarlett.
