I am so thankful for fall break Monday and Tuesday. Being in school again is kinda awesome! Also thankful that we didn't make reservations at a lodge to spend the long weekend at a National Park since the government shutdown would have ruined that.
I'm thankful that my gov't ee DH, and our gov't ee renters are still getting paychecks. I'm concerned about trickle down with local DC area gov't, but for now I'll stick with being thankful.
I'm thankful for my awesome new gym, that has fun classes and great childcare. I'm taking a kickboxing class today.
I'm thankful it is 7:30 and the baby is still asleep, and the big kids are already at school. morning coffee in peace. Ahhh.
'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather, to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, screaming 'Woohoo! What a ride!' So every day is a holiday and every meal a feast."
I'm thankful for my great runs I'm thankful for my great H I'm thankful for peppermint mocha creamer I'm thankful for allll the bad foods ill eat in NYC next week!
I'm thankful that training is almost over and my race will be here in 10 days! AACCKK! I'm thankful for the beautiful weather we've been having. I'm hoping it continues for another week. I'm thankful for the gym we just joined. So excited for all the fun things they have for DS, and I may just start thinking about taking some swimming lessons! Always thankful for my amazing H, who is doing a great job at keeping me together, physically and emotionally, these last few weeks.
today I am especially thankful that both myself and MH are working and will be paid on time and that we do not have to worry about how we are going to pay our rent, bills, or buy groceries.

I am thankful that my office move is finally complete and the last two weeks of hell are over.
I'm thankful that the temperatures are somewhat cooler here and, amazingly enough, that it seems that T.S. Karen is making a bullseye for my house this weekend, because that means it won't mess with central Florida, where my race is!
I am thankful to all my friends (IRL & here on the board)& family that have put up with my freaking out over the last two weeks about said race.
And finally, I am thankful that I am off from work tomorrow and Monday!
I'm thankful to be on a rotation I love this month - I'm actually excited to go to the hospital every morning. On that same note, I'm so thankful and lucky that I get to do something that I love so much. It's amazing that I'll be doing this for the rest of my life.
I'm also thankful for the massage I just scheduled. It has been duly earned.
I'm thankful I am running "right!" My run with the chiro was postponed from last week to today. I was so nervous, but to his surprise, there was nothing to fix. Yay!! It's such a relief.
Also, I'm thankful for brownies. I've been nibbling on them all day.
And for Castle. I've been watching that show the last few weeks after work, and I can't believe I put it off for so long!
I know I'm always thankful for this, but I'm soooo damn happy at my new school I kind of can't believe it. 6th grade science is my happy place and I'm grateful I get to spend the year with these awesome kids.
I'm also thankful for cooler temps which makes trail running near my house a whole lot more pleasant
I'm thankful to live in Albuquerque, & be a part of the awesome triathlon community here. Rode with a girlfriend tonight, overlooking the city, 77 degrees, a few fall colors, and saw a bunch of friends out on the road. Then DD & I had a chance to admire the gorgeous desert sunset on the drive home.
We've lived in some cool places, but NM takes the cake (surprising!!!!)!

I am thankful that we've never watched Breaking Bad and it's touted to be so good. Can't wait to start. I am thankful DH is who he is, I know it's silly to say, but ten years of marriage to someone as wonderful as him has really put a shine on me. He is not perfect and drives me absolutely nuts sometimes, but he loves me and gets me and waking up next to him every day feels like hitting the lottery. I don't take it for granted. I am thankful that somehow, some way, I haven't given up my marathon hopes.
