Has anyone had breast reduction surgery? If so...what gifts and/or products would have been a lifesaver for you?
My niece is having breast reduction surgery (she's quite young - think 16-17) due to back issues, etc. She's very anxious to have this procedure as she's quite self-conscious about the size of her chest. I'd like to get her a gift during recovery - perhaps a comfy shirt or night shirt to wear or ...I don't know. I'd spend up to $50 or so (more as applicable).
I know that she's going to feel like hell for a few weeks at least and want to do something nice for her.
I had one a few years ago. I appreciated foods that were easy to eat/prep. Maybe some prepackaged snacks? I loved my frozen peas to use as ice packs. Also, no one told me but maxi pads were so much easier to cover incisions than gauze and tape.
Given her age, maybe some magazines, a book or two, movie rentals and itunes credits. Even FB credits if she is into that stuff at all?
