When DD was in the infant room we did socks. Socks with grippies when she started pulling up.Robeez were great when she started walking (and sent outside shoes in her bag). They do have a "neat feet" policy. Either no shoes or inside and outside shoes.
I send her with no socks but the in-home always thinks her toes are cold and puts them on her. I have said she doesn't need them, especially since she loves to stick her feet in her mouth, but she is so worried about her that I brought a few pairs just to leave there.

We did Robeez type shoes, because they stayed on. Plenty of kids were barefoot. Socks were fine, but they would just end up barefoot anyway, so sort of pointless. It was a shoe-free room, but as long as you carried them in, and they weren't walking outside in the shoes, robeez were fine.
I sent the boys in sleepers at this age. easy for all involved.
LOL, me too!
I think I sent her in sleepers until she was at least 6 months old.
I miss sleepers.
I miss little babies in sleepers. There is a little flour sack baby at Leo's daycare and I want to take him and just snuggle. Leo doesn't want to snuggle me anymore. Too busy.

That's a brilliant idea. I need to get more.
I will give you the advice a coworker game me. Go buy the most snuggliest, softest, cutest little sleepers there are. Use those for daycare. the workers won't be able to resist to snuggle your little guy. I tried it out and it worked lol. Our DCP had two babies the same age one being Leo. She told me one day that she loved the snuggly sleepers I dressed him in and couldn't resist just carrying him around all day. SCORE!
I send him in just socks. They have outside time in the morning (this covered porch area for babies). I hope he will be too interested in the outdoors/toys/kids to pull them off. I'm confident they come off when they get inside.
I don't mean to threadjack but I've been wondering about this with winter coming up. He is cruising and standing so I guess he needs these Robeez? Then when he starts walking and they do no shoes he goes back to just socks? Hmmm I think I saw a toddler with little shoes on. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I just know he pulls socks off and I don't want him to go barefoot in the winter.
