Oh yeah I forgot the migraines too. My mom and I both get menstrual related migraines which is super awesome.
My physical symptoms usually start abour 3-4 days before my actual period. The emotional stuff starts about a week prior and ramps up to insanity, then just disappears within about a day of my period starting.
Are you anemic too? I don't know if there's necessarily a connection there with the PMS timing, but some of your symptoms sound possibly like anemia.
I've been on BCP forever. Aside from some mild sluggishness and a little extra tummy bloat, I don't really experience typical PMS symptoms.
All of this. I'm on Cyclen and my PMS is almost nonexistent. Before BCP (I went on it as a hormone replacement at 14 y.o) my PMS and periods were awful.
I have Klonopin. I try to save it for things, but then maybe these are the things that I'm saving it for.
This is why I'm prescribed it. My PMS/PMDD really got so bad that I was fearing for my relationships/job/everything else.
Yeah this is kind of where I'm at now since my doctor brushed me off about PMDD twice but my therapist just confirmed it sounds like what I'm dealing with.
So now I get to go back to my doctor and push the issue yet again. God an rx for xanax + bumping up my dose of Prozac would be helpful.
I get all sorts of weird. Something happens to my immune system lately and I almost always feel flu-like. I get about a 99.5ish fever, with aches, sore throat, headache. I should probably bring this up at my next doc appt.

Twinsies. My mom would always have the WORST PMS. I remember she once practically took the head off of a poor woman at Hudson's back in the day. She was a big flipper-offer when driving, etc.
I get menstrual migraines. The only time I didn't get them was when I was on BCP and when I was pregnant.
I start to feel sick- nauseated, congestion, bloody nose, pee frequently, headaches with auras/spots and light sensitivity. Emotional issues go from extreme anger to extreme sadness/weepiness.
The headache generally goes away when my period starts. The past 2 months it hasn't and I am getting frustrated. My period is also starting to come more frequently.

Do you find that a few days after the rage you have a kind of manic upswing?
I haven't paid enough attention in the past to really compare, but this month its almost like, "Ok I got it out of my system! All better la la la la!"
The migraine and puking sensation that comes with it is what I get. I have not found anything to prevent this other than continuous birth control. The mirena worked wonders but it's on its 4th year and though I still don't have regular periods, only spotting, my migraines are coming back.
Sometimes I break and take imitrex or other like drug but I hate it so I have to take it with Xanax. I am not very functional.
I also tried hormonal patches (they also have creams) you apply during your placebo week to minimize the drop in hormones which is what causes my symptoms.
Yours sound suckier than mine. I'm so sorry. it's miserable.
I think I'm bringing up a birth control change at my next appointment in January because I am starting to suspect some PMDD and I keep skipping withdrawal bleeds which makes my body go absolutely batshit. I'm actually really freaking out at the idea of talking to anyone about the PMDD. Might coming back to you and fuckstick for help with this when the time comes.
I had similar feelings to the ones are you describing before my last withdrawal bleed and when it did start, it was bright freaking jack o lantern orange which I hear is a sign of anemia. Time for an iron check maybe, if you haven't had one in awhile?
