Since I outed myself from lurking, I guess I should intro.
I used to be a gamer, but I've never been a fan of FPS. I always preferred puzzles, quests, and unique concepts. There was a period when I lost interest because nothing new was coming out that wasn't just a new skin on an existing gaming engine. And then I gave up the television and the consoles in a divorce, and I haven't felt the need to replace them. (Don't feel bad about that, because I got two cats out of the deal! They're awesome.)
These days the bulk of my gaming is board games, and I have two regular board gaming groups (the serious one that sheds tears over the outcome of Catan Cities & Knights, and the non-serious one that mostly plays Killer Bunnies and will sic Cyber Bunny on their own bunnies if it makes for a good laugh).
I love putting together costumes, but I don't have many occasions to do so, and my sewing machine is the wrong voltage, so it's been living in the basement since I moved overseas. Instead I've focused a bit more on crafting, since the materials are easier to have shipped. I have a few new ideas on the back burner, but these are the ones I'm most proud of: www.spritestitch.com/z-is-for-zelda-cross-stitch/ i41.tinypic.com/14wtwdk.jpg (It's a level 2 Menger Sponge made out of Post-It origami, with the help of my team at work.)
Hopefully y'all won't mind if I drop by once in a while.
