Bear with me because this is a dumb one. I have always wondered if babies are predisposed to like breastmilk. I know they must be but are there some babies who just don't like the taste of breastmilk?
If you know of any good studies or articles about this send them my way.

It's sweet, so it would stand to reason babies would like the taste. If they didn't, well evolutionarily speaking that would be a trait that wouldn't last long.
My son literally stopped taking breastmilk in any way around 6 or 7 months old. He had been given breastmilk since birth thru tube feed and then bottle fed (he was a preemie) and never had a problem. Then, he just woke up one morning and refused it. We were starting solids so I mixed rice cereal with it and he wouldn't take that either. I tried several days and different bags of milk from the freezer and he wouldn't do it. He loved the rice as long as I mixed it with formula and drank every bottle of formula down. Don't know if that counts as a baby not liking breastmilk, but it was definitely weird. AND I had to waste all that milk!
