Has this ever happened to anyone early in their pregnancies? I had cramping since 7 dpo, not a big deal it happens, but right after my ultrasound I noticed CM that was brown, like it was mixed with old blood. Well today and yesterday that has turned into very light pink "spotting" of and on. I called my doctor and talked to the nurses, they called me back and said as long as it isn't heavy (it isn't) I am not cramping (I am not) and it isn't red then I am ok. They said to keep an eye on it since I have another ultrasound on Tues. I am kinda freaked out about it. I know sometimes it is normal, but it is still really scary when it happens.
I didn't have any pink spotting, but I definitely had the brown CM after my first early ultrasound. Called my RE's office, and was told basically the same thing you were- to keep an eye on it, and call then if it got heavy or was accompanied by any kind if painful cramping.
When are you noticing it? With mine, it wasn't enough to get on my underwear, but I would notice it on the TP when I wiped (sorry if that's TMI!)
Mine lasted maybe 2-3 days off and on, and I've had another ultrasound since then and everything is great! Fingers crossed for you, but what you've described sounds totally normal to me
Also, even when people tell you that it sounds normal, it's still super terrifying and anxiety inducing. When mine happened, I immediately called my sister (who spotted with all three of her pregnancies) to talk me down- even after that and talking to the nurse at my RE's office, I didn't totally relax until I saw the heartbeat at my next u/s.

I had some darker red bleeding and called them again. They basically said to take it easy this weekend and keep my appt. either it will stop and things will be fine, or it will get worse, I will get my period and/or miscarry. It seems to have gotten a little better though. I am pretty much a huge mess right now. Thanks for letting me vent.
I had brown spotting from 5w-6.5w or so, and I had some red blood after an ultrasound at 7w. I have read many many stories online of women with red bleeding that turned out fine. I hope you get good news at your next ultrasound. I'm sure it's scary.
It's scary and as much as you hear that it can be normal it doesn't help. Take it easy this weekend and good luck at your appointment next week. Sending you some sticky baby vibes.
I hope everything turns out to be great at your u/s. Relax as much as you can this weekend (way easier said than done, I realize!), and take it easy. I definitely echo the sentiment that no matter how "normal" people tell you it sounds, it's still terrifying when it happens. I had my issues over three weeks ago, and I'm still anxious every time I go to the bathroom that it'll have started up again. Lots and lots of prayers and positive thoughts headed your way!
