Congrats!
I can relate to the side stitch thing - for me it has a lot to do with my breathing during the run and hydration the day before. I have to keep my breathing steady in in out and if a stitch happens then breathe all the way in thru my nose - expanding my belly and then exhale mouth open.
Congrats! I hit that 'why the hell am I doing this to myself' last weekend during my 10k last weekend too.
1. I do get coughy after a strong effort. Usually only when the weather cools. You may have some mild exercise induced asthma. If it continues and bothers you it might be a good idea to see an md.
2. On the app. Don't remember what this question was.
3. This is a hydration issue. Either not enough water or not enough sodium
Ok now that I've read #2 again I think maybe you were a little low on electrolytes. Were you pounding a lot of water yesterday and this am? Both of those things happen to me when I don't get enough water or too much water w/o electrolytes.

Good job!
I have asthma, and I often had that cough when I first started running and went out too fast.
The side stitches often come when I'm dehydrated and haven't had enough fuel beforehand.
My hands swell a little bit from exercise. Usually running them under cold water helps. Take in a little more salt than normal, and see if that helps, too.

I drank 8 glasses of water yesterday. I had only a couple sips this morning. I've never made a point to try drinks with electrolytes. Will try that next time, thanks
Oh, you need more water pre-race! 8-10 hrs (however long you went without any) is too long! Yes, sometimes I do have to pee during the race, but better that than dehydrating.
1. I agree this sounds like exercise induced asthma. Totally not normal, bring it up at your next dr appt. 2. Dehydration or electrolyte imbalance 3. I would guess your electrolytes are off--salt is your friend!
