You get nerds from your castle in your Springfields that you send to attack your friends Springfields? You can attack 5 buildings in each other Springfield but you need at least one nerd per attack and it takes hours to figure out if you won?
Um, yeah. I am not sure I like this update.
Yes. It's like the gremlin update for Halloween. You'd release your gremlins and hope that no one would tap them before you got the loot.

Am I missing something here? Can I pillage your actual towns when I visit? Because I just visited one of you and only found the typical stack of money/red spray can options. The only way I'm seeing a place to pillage is by clicking the gray circle in the upper right corner. It seems that that takes me to some bizarro Other Springfield.
Thus far I am not enjoying this quest but that is highly possible that it's just because I can't figure it out! Help? Please and thank you.

I'm finding that a lot of people haven't updated yet, so that's why you're unable to pillage them. Your best bet is to go to the friends main page (where you can scroll sideways through the other Springfields) and look at who has gold. You can pillage them. Also, it's still letting you get FP by clicking on the businesses.
Good to know. I have a Mac, but if it's working on your PC, I bet it'll work fine for me. I'll try tomorrow.
Thanks!
When I looked at it today, it looked like you had to be running windows. I have a Mac.
Bah!
Also, can we get the donut purists name list again? You get elixir and coins for clearing attacks. If I only have so many nerds, I can try to attack purists first.
I realize that sounds like a bad thing, but I'm pretty sure it's not.
Oh andplusalso, anyone know what those ruby cheater things are for yet?

The ruby cheaters are just that- cheats. They let you immediately destroy a building in another Springfield and defend against yours.

So if I click the invade/attack button when I'm in my Springfield, who does it take me to, just the people who have attacked my town?
How many nerds do you use to attack someone else? Is it worth it to use as many nerds as possible or to spread it them out?
It takes you to some random Springfield--as I said in my post, I've had French and Russian invaders (the notification that someone is raiding my town has been in french and russian).

The top right armor icon will take you to random neighbors that are not on your list.
The more nerds you use per house/castle the faster they destroy the building and the less of a chance that neighbor will be able to defend (tap) their building and the more elixir/gold you win.
I've adapted what the girl on the TSTO forum is doing.
"My thoughts: I'll be attacking friends so they get the defense bonus, using one nerd on whatever castles I find. I assume I'll get 10e2g each when people check their games and defend. I'll also be attacking the three castles in Other Springfield each day-and-a-bit, since it appears that those attacks will complete and gain me the full (small) potential payout. Cheaters I'll use on random-town castles (for maximum greediness)."
Here is a quick run down of payouts.
Earnings and Loot
One's potential earnings differ depending on whether one attacks neighbors or random towns.
Random Town Castle: 140 elixir and 50 gold, 12 hours House: 70 elixir and 25 gold, 10 hours
Neighbor Castle: 25 elixir and 10 gold, 12 hours House: 18 elixir and 8 gold, 10 hours
Other Springfield Castle: 25 elixir and 10 gold, 1day 3hours House: 18 elixir and 8 gold, 1day 1hour

I ended up deleting this app from my phone and ipad because I got into playing HayDay and having both games used up all of my memory. So, if you have me as a neighbor, you will probably want to delete me. My name on there is kimball#s.
If you happen to play HayDay, let me know and we can be neighbors on there.
