When I taught preschool we used a book called A Bad Case of Tattle Tongue. I don't know if it helped any of them at home, but it definitely made a difference while they were at the preschool. Plus, you know, we had a giant ear on the wall. We would ask them if they were tattling, and if the said yes we'd tell them to go tell the ear. I had a kid stand there for five minutes one time just gabbing away to it.
