To save you a call to poison control, if your child ever wakes up in the middle of the night with a 104 fever and your half-awake spouse accidentally gives her twice the reco'd Ibuprofen dosage, it's not toxic. Just make sure you give your child lots of water to try to flush it out of her system.

That's a relief to know, although it sucks that now we're supposed to wait a full 12 hours before giving her any other medication and the fever was back up after just 5 hours.

ETA: Excuse the rambling sentences. I am sleepy, too. And in case it isn't clear, we DID call poison control to check on this.
