1. What's with all the commercials making me cry lately? The Carter's one kills me.
2. This SW is a huge PITA. She is new and just quotes rules instead of answering my questions. Ugh! Spill it lady. Is he staying through the holidays or not?!
3. I can't pick a costume for the baby. There are too many cute choices. Maybe he can have a wardrobe change every hour.
4. My head hurts so bad. I can't rest so here I am, distracting myself.
5. The girl's birth mother no longer has the baby with her. I have no idea where he is or how to find him. I am so worried about him and upset that no one has called us to take him. I have emailed a few SW's I know, but no response yet. SW's,is there some kind of state or nationwide database?
6. Thanksgiving is on my mind constantly. I am crazy :-)
7. When I take a break from Thanksgiving daydreaming I think of Hanukkah and Christmas. I've decided we need a new theme for our tree. Now there's something my kids can talk about in Hebrew School,Lol!
8. I am a babywearing failure! I do it, but not well or comfortably.
9. Mashed potatoes sound so good right now.
10. I am coveting minivans in a big way. We barely fit in our current car now. Getting in and out requires acrobatics and some swearing. Maybe we'll go test drive some this weekend. Sliding doors sound like heaven.

I am not a CPS SWer, but no, I don't believe there is. I work in an area where 3 states (ahem) that converge and no, they don't talk.at.all. Which is horribly frustrating.
I LOVE my minivan. I might be the only person in the world whose dream car right now is a fully loaded new Odyssey in navy blue.
2brides-thank you. I was afraid of that. I am heartbroken. We gave been worrying about this baby since he was in utero. He is almost 15 months old now. I hope he is okay and finds his way to us eventually.
I want a Sienna or Odyssey so much it hurts. Room! Sliding doors ! Back -up camera! Did I mention, room! We share a dream :-)

Duchess1, of course he can have a wardrobe change every hour!
1. E was up at 5am this morning because she felt her ear was plugged. So roll over and sleep, we can fix that sh!t later!
2. Needless to say, she snoozed and I laid there wide awake. Sigh.
3. A and I are going to see KT Tunstall tomorrow night with another couple. So excited for date night!
4. Last week I submitted for the 24th and 25th off. One for E's field trip and a doctor's appt. for her, another for the day the movers bring A's stuff to our house. I got a cryptic reply asking if the dates could be changed because of the deadline for this project I'm helping with. Mind you, I've not been given much work to do on said project. So then I had to reply to everyone and explain that I'm not getting much work and why the dates can't be changed. Yes, my partner is moving in you nosy people! Sigh. This morning I got an email that my request was approved and an apologetic phone call.
5. A starts her new job and we start day to day life together on 11/1, holy moly!
6. The weather here has been beautiful. Brisk fall days. I love this time of year.
7. The group I used to work with at the downtown office got instant messaging. My bff and I are finally able to keep in touch better.
8. This week my work is moving someone in to share my office. It will be a rotating nurse who spends most of the day on the phone. I am pretty sure I'm going to need earbuds all day to tune that out.
9. Come on coffee, help me out!
10. It's good to see more people back on the board.
1. If I win the lottery, I want a driver and a chef.
2. My kids have started reading (silently) in their beds - and not just looking at pictures. It is awesomely cute.
3. I need to break my awful $4/day mocha habit. I'd gotten good - just 1x/week, then it became 2x/week, now I am up to 3-4x/week.
4. Some days I feel like I am awesome at my job. Other days, not so much. Today I felt awesome. I didn't get everything done, but I felt like an expert is something I was discussing in a meeting and it felt good.
5. Yesterday I was walking through the mall with the boys and I had one of those realizations...I am a MOM. These kids feel/think the same things about me as I felt about my mom when I was a child. How can that be? Aren't I still a kid? I would love to be able to ask my mom if she ever felt like a kid when I was young.
6. L is on the phone with her mom and evidently her mom is being a chatterbox (about what I don't know since they have talked 2 other times today.) I would L to finish and come to watch the stuff on DVR.
7. I was having coffee (see above) with a co-worker on Friday and she said the guy she went on a date was "old." He was 40. *cough cough*
8. I would love a good night sleep tonight. It seems elusive these days. Between L flipping and flopping, strange dreams, and L getting up at 5am to work...
1. I just turned in my first paper for school this go around. Trying to be a student again is mind bendy.
2. So far it is very very repetitive of things I've already learned.
3. 15w2d
4. There are a lot of appointments. I'm sick of going to the doctor.
5. One of my staff called in sick today. I nicely offered to call her clients to cancel appointments, assuming she'd turn me down. Apparently you shouldn't offer to do things you don't want to do.
6. We're going to Florida for our 3rd anniversary weekend in November.
7. My mom gave us crap for spending money on it. My mom seems to think that all travel should be related to family and is otherwise a waste of money.
8. I bought juice at the bodega and now really wish I bought water. I spend too much money in Manhattan on Wednesdays.
1. Excited for big changes and happy releationships seattlekari! 2. Excited for growing babies kershnic! 3. Last night rosebud asked why our SW didnt come over any more. That sucked. 4. I'm really digging my new job! 5. I hope we get to go apple picking this weekend. I'd feel like a bad new england-er if we didnt fit that in this year! 6. I've been working with a trainer at my gym for 2 months now and really like it. 7. Havent lost much weight (6lbs), but feel stronger 8. back to work!

Thanks ct. I feel excited, nervous, happy, worried, all the things. But mostly excited that we've made it through the challenge of dating at a distance for 15+ months and that there is a happy ending.

kershnic, how is your anniversary trip not related to family? Because it's to celebrate your family and not to visit someone else? That's silly.
1. I didn't get a chance to post yesterday and then the internet was down all morning here.
2. We're finally getting around to finishing the tile in the kitchen. My sister and I worked on it last night while my wife entertained the boy. I can't wait for it to be done.
3. I think we're going to have a friend who does housecleaning come in and give us a quote for biweekly cleaning.
4. I just had a vacation and I'm already dreaming about when the next one will be. Sigh.
5. I think my sister is coming over tonight to hang out with the boy so I can go to darts with my wife. That should be fun.
6. Oops, got to working on something else and didn't get back to this and now it's time to go home. I guess it's just 6 for me this week!
Thanks ct! I am of course thrilled that we have made it this far. We're starting to tell people and it's still trippy to me that other not so pessamistic people just assume pregnancy now = baby(ies) later. Like it's really happening or something.
And bluedaisyus, I totally agree. I think she feels that we can celebrate ourselves at home more cheaply since we live alone. But to us travel as a couple (and to include our future kids) is important in addition to traveling to see family. She also gives my sister a headache about travel she does with her husband and kids not to visit relatives.
Blue, have you shared a run down of your trip??? That deserves a post of its own I think!
