I am interested to hear thoughts on the number of boxes per round. The first 2 we had two boxes that went to more people which grew to insane amounts. Fun but people did comment on the cost of shipping. Round 3 had more boxes so they have stayed smaller and the round has progressed much faster. Anyone have a preference?
I would like for all 4 boxes to be done before we start the next round. One is on its way to me and the others are near the end. So there is no sign-up deadline just yet.
Here is how it works:
I will start it with a box of various make-up/beauty samples. It gets mailed to the second person who takes what they want from the box and adds new items. Try to keep it fair. Don't take 12 items and put in two. Don't take all the high end items and only add drug store items. You get the idea.
Once you add/take ship the box on to the next person. You can put as many items as you want in the box. Samples or even full size if you wish.
So if you are interested send me a PM with your mailing address. Once everyone has signed up I will put the addresses in geographical order and ship to the first person.
When person 1 receives the box they PM me to let me know and I give them the address for the next person. Try to get the box moved on within a week.
It is optional but this is a lot of fun if each person posts pictures of what the box looks like when they get it, what they take, and what they put in. Keeps the momentum going.
I liked the smaller boxes. I also liked that you seemed to group people geographically (at least our group was) so shipping was quicker and maybe cheaper.
Just an idea - if you are getting a ton of samples back, more than enough to take some for yourself and ship out the next boxes, local women's shelters LOVE these sort of things.

I do work hard to lump geographically. It's a little sad how much time I spend on that part...lol
I'm back in for this one; I have enough stash built up to contribute again. I also support the smaller, multiple box format. My one concern with this from the start was that shipping could get pricey.
I noticed the shipping for the box that got sent to me was $12 which is what I paid in the first round. I did try to consolidate the box, so I expect it to be a bit less than that when I send it out to the next person.
Sign ups are still going on. I am waiting for the last round to complete (mainly taking forever due to me!). I am thinking the soonest we wil start the next round is Jan since we are so close to the holidays.
me! I think we should try to use the priority mail flat shipping boxes. I'm actually holding up my box right now because I can't figure out how to get it all in the box it came in and I can't find another box. The medium flat rate box is $11.35.
I liked the smaller boxes for speed and shipping cost, but it wasn't as much fun digging through it this time. I was I think third on our smaller list, and the pickings felt slim. This may also be because I was the last person on the previous round, and I felt like what I got was just a smaller assortment of stuff I didn't really want from the last box
