Its another apocalyptic book with zombies but isn't solely a zombie story. Basically an electromagnetic pulse kills off most humans except the very young and the old. Of the few teens that live, some change over into zombies. The story follows Alex, a 17 yo with a brain tumor who is one of the "spared."

It had a slow start but it picked up. There were some twists and turns and new plot developments that kept it interesting. And the last sentence definitely left me wanting more. Book 2 comes out in Sept.

I just tried to check this out of the library today but it was out. It sounds really good! Maybe I'll wait til September though - I hate waiting for sequels!
