Sorry, I couldn't watch until 3:13 so I'll have to take your word for it. Was there actual proof in the video they made a donation? Is it cynical of me to think these guys didn't donate a penny to breast cancer research?
On one hand, its very clever of them. I feel like they must think they are marketing geniuses - but they clearly didn't do a "test market" to realize that women would find their attempt extremely offensive. What idiots!
Are they doing it without women's permission on the front end?
Only watched about 3 ... "motorboatsworth"? Is that a word? But the women didn't seem to be surprised and seemed to have given permission. I'm all wtf over this, and still would like actual proof this donation was made.

How in the heck is this clever?
We are talking about it. They have made international headlines. Wether or not it was appropriate, or humorous, or whatever, it was clever.

I still don't believe it. Why didn't they post the transaction start-to-finish. It's too easy with Adobe or any number of graphic programs to alter a $20 donation receipt. It would be so easy to just videotape the entire transaction - what would that be, 45 seconds, maybe? If anything, this edited transaction makes me more dubious of their intentions!

I don't even give cash to people claiming to be with certain charities on the street let alone let some dude motorboat me because he tells me he'll donate money for breast cancer research.
