That the vast majority of gender neutral items are pale green or pale yellow. There is a WHOLE RAINBOW and then some of colors - why is it predominantly those two?!
Omg The clothes are ridic. I've bought stuff but only on sale.
I'm really pissed about the Carter's pants with the ruffle butt because they come in a two pack, but only one pair has the damn ruffle. Tricky tricky. At one store they were $20 and another they were $8. I bought a a set of two without ruffles on clearance at Walmart for $4. I'm obsessed with the ruffles though and I call them "ruffle butts" all the time now.
Boy clothes would be much less intense for me. Lol
I got a 2pk of carter ruffle butt tights; they both have ruffles. They are from target... i die at the cuteness. I showed DH and he was all, "oh shit." poor guy, he's doomed.
I'm annoyed that Babies R Us has lousy shipping policies. I had to pay for shipping on my SIL's $150 high chair. That's freakin' ridiciulous.
I know it's probably been said before, but WHY ARE DIAPERS SO EXPENSIVE!!!
I hate that BRU doesn't have some kind of shipping deal. Like free shipping after you've spent $$$.. stupid. I won't order from there for this reason, and the nearest one is an hour away SO no one that registered at BRU will be getting anything from there, from me.

mekiakoo Huh. The one time I wanted to order from BRU I was going to order the BOB stroller converter & an infant seat and the shipping was around $16. I've never gone back.. Maybe I missed a promo code or something.

I think BRU has a lot of exclusions on their deals and shipping. I tried like 20 coupon codes to get something off that high chair, whether it was shipping or a discount. Nada. The deal I *did* get was that it would come with a free umbrella stroller. Guess what BRU never sent me?
I also HATE that so much of BRU's stuff is not in stores. It's not even worth it for me to see what is in store, b/c my older shower guests live several states away. Who knows what their store stocks?
I get coupons in the mail from BRU, with over 10 lines of things that it cannot be applied to, basically excluding everything they sell. Now they just go straight to the trash. Pointless waste of paper.

Order it from diapers.com
Free 2 day shipping and they used to have no tax and 10% off for new customers

My pet peeve is why don't more soap/lotions come in pumps. It's so much easier to pump something in my hands while while washing a baby then to have to pick up and squeeze a bottle.... Maybe I'm lazy LOL

Seriously. So many gender neutral items end up being ugly because of this!
Mine is the brand "summer infant" - I cant tell you how many times I've had to explain that it's just the brand name. The swaddle blanket by summer infant is NOT a swaddle blanket for an infant born in the summer. Lol. I wonder if they ever realized that could hurt their sales. My mom still doesn't get it. I've told her over and over.
I'm so glad you posted this! My registry has Summer Infant swaddlers and I had made a mental note to replace them with something heavier. D'oh!
Colors bother me more than anything, I think. For an infant, I really truly don't care about IDing boy or girl...because it's a baby. A baby that doesn't have any gender identity or know about dump trucks yet or fairy castles. For a year or two I just want baby things, not girl things or boy things. I know that's obviously not how a lot of people feel and they do want everyone to be able to tell they have a boy or girl.
Luckily my H let me have my way and I painted the nursery ceiling pink even though we don't know if we're having a boy or girl yet. It's a soothing pink and I know I will enjoy spending time in there and if the kid doesn't like pink when he or she gets old enough to have preferences then we will paint it, nbd. In the meantime I think it's a great baby color (at least in decor, not that I would go out of my way to dress a boy in pink).
Oh, yeah, the colors and styles are my pet peeve as well. I just don't like pink and I don't like a lot of the very boy-ish styles because they're too 'sports' or 'cool dude'. So I'm stuck with completely gender neutral clothing regardless of whether it's a boy or a girl. I would love to be able to find old guy clothes (like the sweater @publius made) or non-pink girly clothes.
Both are very hard to come by overhere. Only place I've seen a lot of clothes I actually like has been in Milan in La Rinascente (fancy Italian department store, think Nordstrom's x100 in fancy brand names). And while I go there once or twice a year, there's no way I can afford to buy all baby's clothes there.
