Though we used the hospital blankets to swaddle and had a lot more than 4. If they are all you are using I would get more if you don't want to be doing laundry everyday.

No.
We ended up using the swaddlemewraps (velcro) and the miracle blanket for actual swaddling. I use the A+A blankets as nursing covers and to lay on the floor for DS to roll around on.
I bought 8, but cut up a few for burp rags, which I love, and don't usually run out in between laundry (weekly). You're probably fine with the 4, but id you find you use them for a lot, just buy more later.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

I'd stick with 4. We only used them for swaddling for the first few weeks, so 4 was plenty. We also ended up using a Swaddle Me for actually swaddling.
I had 4 and it felt like plenty. I used them for swaddling, as picnic-type blankets to set DD on in public places, as a nursing cover in a pinch, as a burp cloth in a pinch and then, as DD grew, as an extra blanket for plane travel, etc. 4 years later, 2 have been stored away for a future baby and the other 2 are in regular rotation still with DD.

We have a ton (10...I had 4 from MyHabit, and then a couple of shower guests used them as wrapping/tissue paper, so I couldn't return any of them), and we've got 5 out at any given time. We use a SwaddleMe for swaddling, so we mostly use A&A blankets as blankets, nursing covers, and a place to hang out on the ground. There's one in the nursery on the glider, our bedroom, the living room, the diaper bag, and the stroller. We'd easily be fine with 4, though.

i have 8 for my twins... and it was fine. one of the twins has taken them over as his "white blankies"... so now they are all his. I'm glad I have 8 now b/c we always have some clean for him, and he likes to use 2+ at a time
We use a miracle blanket to swaddle but use them for everything else. We have four and it is plenty. I keep one on the car usually too so I can cover the carseat while we are out or use it as a nursing cover or lay the baby on it.
