Or how I burned some massive bridges. I played with this group for a year, we were playing 3.5 I was a bad ass Githzerai monk. The Dm and I did not get along very well since I roleplay and try to think out side the box, and he would try to set up the game to go a way he planned for. We went from level 1 to 19, and were doing a really epic quest. I was getting really annoyed with the group because they kept trying to meta game, and just all around annoying and jerks. So we are traveling threw an area that was known to have a huge elder red dragon, and of course we run into it. I happen to speak draconian (dragon speak) and standing out in front talking to him, and suddenly the Ranger in the group shoots an arrow at him. I don't know why, he just does cause the whole group was being asses. They all take off running and get one free action before me since they see the arrow before me. I think they were planning on killing me. Well I end up rolling great, getting to go before anyone else, I pull my weapons take off running, and as I pass each one, I slash out cutting there legs out from under them. Greater cleave since they were all right there, I keep critting, and knocking everyone over. I had a pair of boots that give me a extra move action so i use that and take off running. The end of my turn I am out of the dragons breath weapon, everyone else is right there prone and its the dragons turn.
Hehe... That DM would hate us:). We were doing a campaign where we had to go to this crypt to get a fancy staff that would help us defeat the dragon. We get the staff and then leave the crypt only to find the dragon attacking the town. We, naturally, think this is the fight and try to get the Dragon. Except it won't land. So one of the group used a grappling hook and a rope to climb on the dragon and try to kill it. He got on the dragon and tried to axe it in the head, but he missed and he got knocked off and the dragon flew off the way it was supposed to and our DM was shaking her head at us trying to kill the thing . We had fun, though.
Then there was the time my paladin fell in a pit. And got immobilized. And then could not climb out of the damn pit. That was a fun encounter.
Then there were the three characters if mine that died because I kept failing saving rolls on poison effects...
