H's friends girlfriend was in labor a few days before me. HER FATHER posted some of the most embarrassing pictures of her, and it was a couple of days before she realized they were on there. I am still embarrassed for her.

That's terrible. I thought it was bad my mom texted pictures of me from L&D to everyone in her contacts, but at least she didn't put them online. And I couldn't believe I actually had to explain to her that I would prefer she didn't send pictures of me nursing to anyone.
Aww, you are always beautiful in his eyes! That said, bad move CvilleDad.
yeah. i'm trying to keep that perspective. my husband is going to start with "we're so happy you're excited and we're so grateful that you're here to help . . ."
i still want to kill him dead.
you all know how paranoid i am. every one of my hospital bracelets is fully readable.
Aw, I'm sorry. I'm sure you looked beautiful. I'm sure he is just overly proud & excited for you and his new grandson. I'm glad your H is taking care of it!
before L was born. when he posted like 3 times after baby O was born but before we'd even picked a name. last night.
oy.
Ok this means I'll have to forbid any camera/pictures in the room until I say it's fine!
I wonder if we have the same father.
oh no. it gets better. this is one of the pictures we emailed to family like "here are some photos just for us!"
"us" IS NOT THE ENTIRE INTERNET, DAD.
the fact that my husband and i selected the photos is, i'm sure, the only reason all of my bikini area is covered in the photo. not that we took any where it wasn't. but still.
This sounds like something my MIL would do, which is why my H told her she wasn't allowed to bring her camera into the hospital room. She came back to the hospital to see us the day after R was born. We had a photographer in there taking pictures and MIL started taking pictures of the photographer taking pictures of R. Then she started taking pictures of me holding R while the photographer was taking pictures. She managed to get her hand into one of the photographer pictures as well.

My husband did a great job with the video camera when I was having my first. He got seconds old baby, minutes old baby, we have him cutting the cord, being weighed, all the standards. It was a great video. I was making copies to send to the grandparents, and the v-e-r-r-r-y last scene on the tape is a slow pan around the room, showing all the people involved, including the me, legs splayed, with the doctor stitching me back up. NOOOOOO! Fortunately I caught it before I'd sent them all out. Thank God that child was born before Facebook!
update: he took it down and we've even joked about it. i knew, even as it was making me nuts, that REALLY it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of life and that no one else really gives 2 figs about what i look like, ever. but it still was driving me up a tree, so i really appreciated that he was willing to go along with the crazy.
