Came out on the very first day.

Since then: "Does this school pay a lot of money to teach here?", "Did you get fired from teaching college and so that's why you teach here now?"

I remember with my first I was sick and told my undergrad students around 11 weeks and one guy said "oh yeah we were talking about your figure the other day, you lost your waist!"

Ha, those are funny. I was talking to a co-worker the other day. He asked if we were ready for another kid. For starters, DS2 is just tomorrow 5 months old, and we decided we're done at 2 kids and I had hyperemesis so I am never going to be pregnant again. I said, 'oh, no, we're definitely done.' He responded, 'yeah, I figured you're getting pretty old.' I laughed, because I'm just 35 and thought he was teasing, but then realized he was serious.
