Question about alcohol sales in Indiana...

H and I were just doing research - we'll be in Indiana on Sunday...

Can you buy alcohol on Sundays in Indiana? 

Should we stop in Michigan before we get there and buy what we need? Are bars open, like at a casino?

ETA: Depending on where you are going, some microbrews can sell their own product on Sundays.  We have a couple in the Indy area where you can buy and bring it home on Sundays.

We're going to Michigan City, IN. To Blue Chip Casino (hotel and spa!) We'll hit the bar there (it's our first trip without baby since last year at this time which I was pregnant). We don't want to spend and arm and leg at the bar though, so we'll stop in MI on our way.

County by county in Illinois (mine is dry on Sunday but not near IN border...)

Stop before you get to Indiana! You can buy it in a restaurant but you can't carry out, the aisles at the grocery store are blocked off, liquor stores are closed. For holiday weekends or football games, you have to plan ahead for your "Sunday beer"

You certainly can in northern Kentucky.

DS threw up in his car seat in Indiana on Monday, 45 minutes into our 7 hour drive home from Chicago. I am pretty darn glad it wasn't a Sunday.
