So apparently I have entered the phase of the pregnancy where I don't feel pregnant. My boobs barely hurt, my morning sickness is gone and all my 1st tri bloat is gone (I look way less pregnant than I did 2 weeks ago!!). And I can't feel the baby yet. So it is totally disconcerting. I am happy my first OB appointment is on Thursday. Hopefully they will use a Doppler so we can hear the heart beat. I remember people talking about this phase and promising myself I wouldn't worry. Lol at that now!
My sister lives in the Galapagos and just ordered a cake for our niece's birthday. The one on the right is what they ordered. The one on the left is what they got. (I blurred out her name because it's kind of distinct, but you get the gist.)

W.T.H.
CakeWrecks, anyone!? That is awful!
I know, right? They're going to doctor it up tonight.
However, I am starting to concern myself. I know sleepiness is normal with a newborn, but she is over 3 weeks old, and only wakes for 20 minutes every 3 hours to eat and I am soooo exhausted during the night. I am not tired during the day but it's like I am half dead at night. H will say things that happened during her feedings or something, and I never remember any of it. I can never remember the times she was up, if I have pumped, or anything. H has to write it down for me. Also, when I am feeding her I have to lay down otherwise I would fall over because I always fall asleep. My head hits the pillow, and I am down for the count. I have always been a light sleeper, so this is weird to me.

I want to cry because I am so tired. I got a positive pregnancy test 3 weeks ago today, and since that day I have not had a decent nights sleep, and it is starting to wear on me both physically and mentally. I took off work yesterday to catch up on sleep and relax, and even doing that, I still feel like I haven't slept in a month. Fatigue and trouble sleeping are the only issues I've had so far and I'm thankful for that, but I really am worried about how my job is going to suffer if I am this tired for another 20+ months.
Today has been a shit day. I've been at work for 4 hours and one thing after another seems to be going wrong. At least (knock on wood) nothing is breaking down so I shouldn't get any overtime today. I'm just stressed and tired and ready to go home and see my boy.

Seriously? Did they pay for that?/
I'm presuming they did. It's a small island and this is the best bakery. I just think they didn't have the supplies, but I'm guessing they advertised that they did?
My sister is artistic and has made some beautiful cakes for her in the past. I'm sure she'll be able to remedy this and I think she enjoys the comedy associated with it.

Oh man, that is from the Island's best bakery? That's too bad!

Haha. YES.
She said this in her FB post: "I am glad you are finding this as entertaining as I did. When we picked it up I couldn't believe it, was really just speechless that they even pretended this was the cake I asked for. She even handed back the photo with it. We have re-decorated it with some candy and S thinks it is great. I have not stopped laughing since picking it up."

Vicky, I really want to smash your ex douchebag's face in for him...whatadick!
Annnd now that my son is freshly two, he's taking advantage of the phrase "terrible twos". And he's decided he doesn't need to sleep anymore. I can't handle the up every two hours at night screaming stuff anymore =/
I woke up with a huge pimple on my chin. I'm running a half marathon tomorrow and the weatherman said that there might be SNOW in the morning. Hell no.

I'm making Skyline chili dip (cream cheese, onions, Skyline chili, and mountains of cheese, all baked together). I plan to snack on it all day long. I also picked up some Bailey's coffee creamer from the store and I'm exciting to try it.

I'm just done. With everything. It's one shit thing after another, and I don't see it getting better anytime soon, if ever. I'm just done. I don't want to fight anymore.
But I can't be done, because I have a husband who loves me and I'm not ready to give up yet. So I'll keep going. But I'm so tired of fighting.
Dh is oot, my sil has the kids and I slept until 11! It was amazing! I'm being lazy and don't know what I'm going to do wit myself the rest of the day. It's cold and rainy so maybe just staying in. Halloweentown is on and I love this movie!

SIL is having the first girl in DH's family in 2 generations. I have yet so acknowledge I've heard the news from DH.
I'm still not over her treating me like a pariah when we were both pregnant together in the past and I had our first m/c. She cut off contact until she threw herself a shower, registered for all big boy items (can't wait for her to throw herself a girl shower now two years later), had us address our own thank you cards which she never mailed out, and decines every family event DH's family throws unless it involves gifts for her and nephew, and her absence was noted when FIL was dying last year.
DH doesn't get it, and BIL is great, but she was not there for us when we needed family, and that was only a few months into our relationship. I can't forget that.

I haven't made this in so long. It never lasts long in the house because my brother devours it. And... me, too. It's just so delicious.
It's a brand of chili our of Ohio. It's really thin and has cinnamon in it but is so delicious and I hate cinnamon. I can find it here in GA if I go to a Kroger. But you can always buy online.
