Lol, you can still get your meds. I mean, a prescription for Percocet is a little more annoying than hydrocodone but not by much.

Okay. I'm just grumpy thinking about the pain I'll be in so any barrier to pain relief worries me. I had a friend who went through an awful time getting her percoset refilled after her c-section. They only gave me norco but at least I had no trouble getting it filled.

You'll still be able to get hydrocodone; you'll just have to see a Dr. for a refill after 90 days, and actually take the Rx to the pharmacy vs. the physician calling it in.

IMO, it's a good change.

Yeah this is really more for people who take narcs for chronic pain, not acute post op pain.

Trust me. This is a good thing.

I know these are good changes in general (DH's pet peeve are pain med seeking malingerers).

I'm just dreading needing pain meds, and therefore any bumps in the road to obtaining them. It was more of a tongue in cheek complaint.
