Hi board. I will be bringing home a kitten in 5 weeks and am looking for a better litter box system. My sister told me about the Breeze system and I am wondering if this would work with a kitten? I realize the pellets are larger than normal litter and don't know if a kitten would take to this right away. I could always start with a normal litter box and switch, but was wondering if it'd be easier off the bat to start with the Breeze. I have a 1600sq ft condo, so need some odor control. TIA!
I LOVE the Breeze for my cats, but have never tried it with a kitten. Kittens do fine with Feline Pine litter though, and that is the same shape pellets (although lighter and easier for a kitten to move around). I would probably get 2 litter boxes to use at first, one traditional with Feline Pine and one Breeze, so that she can get used to the pellet style litter but can use an option that is easier for a kitten to move around. Then phase it out when she gets bigger.
