I think DD is getting bored with her usual snack stuff. She'll be 5 in a few weeks, and isn't a particularly picky eater. Anyone have awesome, easy snack ideas?
Some easy foods DD loves are: cherry tomatoes edamame seaweed hummus peanut butter toast a hard boiled egg sliced turkey meat fruit (grapes, apple slices, clementines, bananas, etc.) olives nuts (cashews, pecans, almonds) dried fruit (apple rings, apricots, cranberries, raisins, etc.) cheese (sharp cheddar, goat gouda and toscano are her favorites but string cheese and babybels are good bets for most kids)

I don't know whether to make a joke about snack culture or the inclusion of seaweed on this list. ;)
My girls like: All kinds of fruit Apple or banana slices with peanut butter Applesauce and applesauce squeezers Yogurt and yogurt squeezers Raisins Hummus with carrots, pretzel snaps, or pita chips Cheese tray (cheddar cheese, crackers, and grapes) String cheese Z-bars Dry cereal (Cheerios, Shredded Spoonfuls, Puffins, Gorilla Munch) Honey wheat pretzel sticks Popcorn (especially Trader Joe's lite kettle corn) Goldfish (last but certainly not least)
String cheese cereal goldfish (I find these can be really filling, so I can't give them out too close to a meal) Fruit pouches cut up fruit yogurt covered raisins
First, my kid doesn't eat any fruits or veggies, so there's that.
Go-gurt Simple yogurt tubes cheese sticks seaweed peanut butter crackers Food Should Taste Good multigrain crackers (gluten free and they are sooo good) Boar's Head turkey slices rolled up (turkey "roll-ups") Fiber One brownies
David is a super picky eater and these are the only snacks he'll eat.

Most of ours have already been mentioned, but dried or freeze-dried fruits & veggies can be a hit. DD2 particularly likes freeze-dried strawberries. I think they taste like strawberry dust, but she thinks they're great.
What's with all the seaweed responses? Are your kids actually manatees?
I gave some to DD after hearing about it here. She made the most awful face and asked why it tasted like the bottom of the ocean. How she knows what the bottom of the ocean tastes like I do not know, but it seems to not be a good thing. Lol
