I love the j crew necklaces, too. But if they're out of your budget, I've bought pieces from Sam Moon and been pretty pleased - especially for the price.

I don't love either of those necklaces. The neckline is a little low so it would be best not to wear something that will be right around your neck, IMO. I also would stick with your black peep-toes.

ETA: if the neckline was higher or lower, I would say no necklace but it's sort of a weird in-between and I think it could use some jazzing up.
