so this episode was definitely a turning point for the series
my favorite moments:
when they were in court and Alicia made the talking hand motion at David Lee when they had the quickie in the bedroom and Peter said "is this what they mean by 'leaning in'?" when Peter made the announcement at his press conference that made ChumHum run back to Alicia and Cary
least favorite: Kalinda Peter rejecting Diane as supreme court justice, although I saw that coming.
My favorite part was the phone call between Will and Alicia. Squabble, squabble, squabble...oh, yeah, Grace needs her permission slip for her field trip. Random, funny. I liked it.
Definitely sad about kalinda. I don't care that she isn't going, but that she so clearly tricked Cary. Boo.
Not surprised about Diane. It sucks that Peter is doing that, but obviously from the point of the show- she needs to be at the firm. And Will now NEEDS her.

And the appointment is basically a political favor, so OF COURSE he's going to go another direction when you start screwing with his wife and her new firm.
Great episode - although I was screaming at the TV when Will tried to fire Alicia - because he can't, she's a partner - so I'm glad that they kept that "realistic" and them vote her out.
Such a good episode! Will looked so sad when he found out Alicia betrayed him. I think he really does love her. How are they going to get together now that she betrayed him though!
