We stayed up late for the game last night. That ending? OMG, I heard every household around her groaning about the Bosox, and then right at the end? Heart in throat. Never a dull moment in Red Sox nation. Someone tweeted into the local news station that they expect the next surprise ending to be a falcon swooping in and taking the ball lol
This really has been one hell of a series. I can't imagine what will happen next. I'm seriously worried my dad will have a heart attack. He kicked in the TV after 1986.

we are die hard cardinal fans (obviously). But Saturday night we had to go to bed early b/c we had to be up at 4am on Sunday morning. We both got up and looked up the score, but then saw a bunch of texts about the ending of the game... crazy. sad we missed it.

Dh is going tonight. I'm bitter, lol.
Hah! This series has been one for the books for sure. I'm placing my bets on the teams going to 7 games. It would be super cool to see the Sox clinch a WS win at Fenway though

Hey now--I was at that game saturday night, and got up to head to Lambert for my flight home at 4am!
My husband is going to go tonight--tickets came way down after last night's game, since it won't be a clincher. I'm not jealous though--I've had my fill of sitting outside in 40 degree weather.

we were running a half marathon. And yes, there is a part of me that isn't jealous about sitting outside int cold weather. I'm still not warmed up.

Yeah--that's a fair excuse!
Saturday it was decently warm to start the game but the temps dropped quickly into the mid 40s. Add that to being up, then losing the lead over and over, and the prospect of extra innings in the 9th, and then that crazy ending. I definitely feel drained from it. I can't imagine doing another in person.
