A few weeks ago I posted about how we had bees in our house. I told our landlord and she said she would call an exterminator if they kept coming. They stopped coming for a week or so.
The bees are back in full force now. I've killed nearly 20 since Friday. I told our landlord on Saturday and she said she would call someone on Monday and get them out here. I've heard nothing from her.
I've killed 5 bees so far today. I am certain we will end up killing more.
I know one of these times someone is bound to get stung and if it's my baby I will lose my shit. She also can't be breathing in the bee killer spray.
My H wants to call the landlord right now and make sure someone is coming today. He's getting pissed off, and frankly so am I. This should have been taken care of the first time.
Should we give her until the end of the day today to let us know, or call and make sure this is getting taken care of?
I'd call her now as a follow up. Ask her if she has called any companies yet? If so, when are the exterminators coming? If she hasn't called them yet, raise some hell.
I would call. If she is having an exterminator come, you may need to be out of the house for a certain amount of time with the baby before returning. You need to make arrangements for your time, so I think it's only fair you get a head's up about the plans as soon as possible.
Call now. Even if the prior swarm of bees died out somehow, the hole they used to enter the house is still there and it sounds like a new swarm found the entry point. This is just going to continue until an exterminator looks at it AND patches the entry point.

I'd call now and if she gives you the run around tell her you'll call someone and deduct it from your rent. Remind her you have a baby and this is not livable.
