Ugh my heart literally hurts right now. There is just no better feeling than a snuggly baby all close to you. Look at that presh little baby.
FUUUUUCKKKK why is my husband sterile. I need more babies.
lol. he is snuggly. i keep covering his head with a napkin since i'm eating. it's surprisingly efficient.
my mom fell asleep (much needed sleep, i'm sure. we've run her ragged.), so i decided this was a trial run of "how can i feed myself, all alone."
I wore Leo in that thing every single night for dinner for the first 8 weeks of his life.
One night I asked H if he could please wear Leo. My back was killing me and I was needing a bit of space. He gets a case of the dumbs and is all "But how will I eat? What if I drop something on his head. This doesn't seem like it would work logistically." And then I killed him.
What size do you need? I have a breezy breeze looking for a good home.
I think mine is a medium? I would have to check.
Hmm I have to check! I can't remember if I got a xs or a small last time, but I went by t-shirt size like they said and it was TOO SMALL. I guess I wear slutty tees. I need to dig it out and I will let you know!
Yes please do. I will also do some research on the actual size that I own lol. It is white and is the mesh kind.

I just looked at my amazon history. It is a small.
Is the ktan basically the moby but you don't have to wrap it every time?
Yes.
I loved ours and miss it now that DS outgrew it. I used it until DS was 22 lbs (and WAY too heavy for it, LOL). We bought DH one too. It was the only way we survived colic.
I had to send my sling pocket back so I could get a ring sling (safer for preemies), and I am dying for it! I hate sitting at home by myself.
I had a really hard time setting up my ring sling to start. We are just now starting to get the hang of it where he won't force his legs straight out of the "seat".
unsolicited advice- make sure it is wide and super flat across your back & shoulder!

Would it be a good idea to get a ktan if I have a moby and a maya sling?
Hmmm... the K'tan and Moby are the exact same thing. I don't think I would spend the money on a K'Tan right now since you already have a Moby, but if you find that you hate the wrapping and extra fabric of the Moby, I would definitely suggest trying a K'Tan. I could pop DS in and out of the K'Tan in seconds, which was a must since we didn't have an infant carseat, just a convertible.

I don't think you'd need it.
You might like a structured carrier or mei tai later.

Thank you! The company sends out a video to help me, so hopefully it will work. It's really my only option to get him out of the house right now, unless I want to lug around the car seat (I cannot get the stroller down the stairs by myself, but I am thinking of having DH take it down, and then locking it to the bottom railing leaving it there).

see if you can find a babywearing meet-up group. I did and they were great for helping me try different things, and showing me how to hang the hang of my ring sling.
I saw in another thread that you have a Beco Gemini. I love mine! We use it the most.

Oh this is an excellent suggestion!
Yes! We bought the Beco for DH, and everyone raves about it.
I just looked at my amazon history. It is a small.
Awesome! I checked and mine is extra small! (It made me nostalgic looking back at what I bought in 2012 btw. Issie blankets, boppy, silver block bank, crib, swing, booster seat, baby food cookbook *tear*)
Once I find out what I did with my xs, it's up for grabs if anyone wants one. It's brown.
PM me your address. If you send it to me now I will make sure I get it to the post office in the next 7 months lol.
I also got nostalgic looking at what I bought in 2012. It also reminded me how heavily we depended on Amazon Prime during that time lol.
