My parents like to do separate pictures of all of us. Think you could ask both of them to send you a picture of themselves to use for the Christmas card?
I like this idea. Give them the option. "We'd love to have you on the Christmas card. Should we meet for lunch to take some informal shots or would you want to send us some pictures to include?" That way a refusal is on them, not you.

I like this idea. That way if she gives you a big old fuck you then at least you tried.
Ask them both if they want to be in a picture or send a picture to you. If SD declines, that is on her. If she accepts, maybe it can be a bridge building experience.

If you can't get one from her, skip it. It will only come back to haunt you as "See, I KNEW you didn't consider me part of the family!" When I was a 19 year old SD I would have done the same thing, unfortunately.

I would ask her to be a part of the photos. If she says no, then I would skip it this year. If she asks why, you could say it wasn't the same without her and you hope she'll want to be part if it again next year. She'll feel super important. If she's still acting out next year then I would ask her to be in them again and if she says no, then just do them anyway.
