I will admit I was bummed she wanted to be one of the more Aryan Disney princesses (she was a Pteranodon last year-it was awesome!). Then I figured childhood is so short and in 10 years or so she won't want to dress up anymore and I'll be sad-so why not let her be what she wants?
And I'm not going to show L the wand. She already told me last night that we forgot cinderella's gloves.
Look at the shoes I was guilted into!
We have the same ones!
And I wanted her to be Mary Poppins. I almost got her to agree, actually did get her to agree and then she changed her mind. I went through the exact same thought process and in the end - she is so so incredibly happy as cinderella, so it's all good.
