Booked Ireland!

After posting Costa Rica vs Ireland; a travelzoo came out last week that we pounced on with another couple. 7 nights, direct flights from Chicago, upgrade to fullsize automatic rental car and hotel for $1,150 a person!

The flight itself costs $1,187 outright right now!

I'm so excited! We'll spend 1 night in Kilkenny, 2 nights in Blarney, 2 nights in Limerick and 2 nights in Dublin and drive between at the end of Sept/early Oct.

Any suggestions for must-see sights or must-eat/drink places are appreciated!

DO! I'll report back afterwards to let you know our experience but so far, it seems good. We've contacted the company to pick our flight seats and upgrade our car with no issues

When in Dublin, make a drive out to the village of Howth. It's a beautiful seaside village that shouldn't be missed. I would suggest going mid-day to avoid rush hour traffic in/out of the city.

Wicklow County is also worth seeing. It is just outside of Dublin.
