She likes to lick my husband's head to wake him up, so there's precedent for this, but damn. Leave my baby alone! She only tries when I'm feeding him so I've deflected each time, but this is so weird. She hated newborn L and avoided her at all costs, but O is irresistible.
Also, it's week 2 of maternity leave and I'm addicted to the Pioneer Woman's tv show. I'm all "ooh, look how calm she is while making brisket." I don't even eat beef!
My cat used to do that, and she would choke on a chunk of hair and make this god awful sound. She stopped eventually, thank god. She also has a really scratchy tongue. We had a cat once that did not, but it is the worst when it hurts!
