I am thankful that L has been able to pick up the kids early from school a few days this week.

I am thankful that L was in charge of homework last night (while I made dinner) because the kids were in rare form and it took a lot of patience to get it done. I didn't have the patience last night to do it...well, really ever.

I am thankful that L's no carb diet is working for her and she is happy with the results.

I am thankful that Friday is almost here.

I am thankful for a sweet child who still likes to be snuggled by her mommy.

I am thankful that the 15+ months that A and I have been doing the semi-long distance thing ends tomorrow!

I'm thankful that my boy went for it when I suggested I should be Wendy to his Peter Pan instead of Tinkerbell as he originally declared (my wife was dubbed Captain Hook).

I'm thankful that I will be able to leave early today for trick-or-treating since our city changed the time (yay, storm!), and I won't have to use any leave time since I worked over earlier this week (yay, lockdown!).

I'm thankful that I still have one more night to try to meet my mileage goal for October. 20 miles, here I come! I WILL GET YOU!
