My somewhat redneck neighbors

Are having it out in their front yard.

The mom (60something) has loud, lengthy arguments with the teenage son on a semi-regular basis in the front yard or on the back deck.

Today, I came home from work and there were several people (mom, son, sundry others) in the front yard having an argument. I heard:

"This is detective Clipin Wood!! Do you know detective Clipin Wood?"

"I do not!"

"You DO you do know detective Clipin Wood!"

Then some incomprehensible yelling from which I gathered that argument had to do with the mom's car.

*I'm pretty certain the detective is not named Clipin Wood, but that is really what it sounded like.

Well, the best I could gather (hey, I would have been opening my windows anyway) the son took the mom's car without permission and used it for ? ? (something illegal?)? he definitely parked it somewhere he shouldn't have...

Clipin Wood may have caught son? There was no cop car there, so I can't figure out if he was a real detective.

When we met the little old lady who sold us the house, she was the perfect picture of a southern lady. Sweet as could be, adorable drawl, talked about how nice all the neighbors were - not a bad word about anybody - and then said about the redneck lady "She is crazy. A sweetheart.... but crazy"

The best neighbor fight I've witnessed ended with the 18 year old son yelling "peace the fuck out, mom" and burning rubber out of his driveway. Lol.
