What is your new feelings about the proboards? Do you like it or do you want to go back to TN?

I mean, it is not as "pretty" as the other board but I like posting messages here better. However, I feel like we are going to lose some members and I am so confused with all the name changes.
However, it is pretty cool that like in one day most of TN had jumped ship.

So what do you think? Do you think this is going to last?

i like it because i can post from my ipad without hassle.

i don't like it because the beauty of TN was newbies would find us and the group would cycle over time. Here it feels isolated. Like no one new will arrive....

Meh. I don't think it's going to last, and I don't think that new posters will be able to find it.

I think that once the nest gets the kinks worked out everyone will head back over. It's happened before, and it won't be the last time, either.

I wasn't even going to join this one because:

1. it's not automatically loaded into my mac browser most common pages thingy
2. you can do gifs here and I still have yet to tap into my inner jedi gif (with the help of my husband) in an attempt to out-gif wiserita in an epic gif-off (of epic proportions)
3. I haven't had the time to sit down and actually figure out how to do gifs yet, and the pressure is stressing me out.
4. I don't know who anybody is.
5. It's not very pretty.
6. fucking fuck, another user ID and password I need to remember? Shoot me. In the face.
7. You can swear here, but I quite like farking and fecking.

But I did join because:
1. I missed you guys
2. I lurked and felt the need to respond to the what would you do post after reading the last two responses.
3. I can include ninja and jedi in my name
4. and that's fucking awesome.

I like it here, but I agree it's nice to get some fresh blood, so I guess we just need to take turns going over to TN informing people of where the cool kids'table is :-)

Tofu, you can change the look under modify profile > skin then set to blue! It's a little bit easier on the eyes.

I'd like to stay here. I just think the features/functionality is way better here. And I'm not above posting the link to this forum periodically on the board.

I'm not sure how I feel about it, but - wow- the nest really is dead. I thought it was just the weekend or a big kink, but all the forums seem to be a ghost town.

haha! Congratulations if that was your birth announcement!! :-)

I moved because the boards on TN were pretty much non-functional for a day or two, and even now there are some serious glitches. Plus (almost) all the cool people are over here and TN is dead as a doornail at the moment. If at some point everyone goes back, I won't mind.

I'm new and have no strong feelings about it. But I am sort of a follower in the sense that I will go where the people are! And currently, they are here.

It feels like it's been more active here than it often has been on the Nest. Maybe it's because people like the drama? But I'm enjoying having a more active board and hope that, wherever our home is, that continues.

I was thinking it might be useful for everyone to include their Nest name and maybe country in their siggy, to help cope with the number of people (myself included) who've changed SNs.

I was trying to think of how to do that without my TN account being able to be linked with this one. Maybe by putting dashes between the letters of the old one so you can't google it? Like k-e-l-y [sic]? Anyone know if that would work?

I like it here because I know I'm not missing the posts. I'm still trying to see what Kelly wrote on tofu's drama llama post on TN. Each time I click to see it, there seems to be fewer and fewer posts. It's frustrating.

I missed the Wiki page because it went down over my night, but if they get the issues worked out -- and I do check to see if they have -- I won't mind going back. Like everyone else, I'm a follower, and I'll go where everyone else is. But the issues have to be worked out.
