I know there is now a WCF Babies sub board but I am asking for T&P from everyone. Yesterday morning I went to the doctor first thing with an issue, got an u/s, doctor measured my cervix at only 9mm - much too short for 26.5 weeks - and sent me directly to the hospital, telling me I'd be here for at least 24 hours. Got here, contractions became more consistent - eventually getting up to 12 per hour. One other test came back positive, and some meds weren't slowing contractions so to L&D I went. Was put on magnesium increasingly through last night. Doctor came in this morning and told me I will be staying put until Miss Selah decides to make her grand entrance. Definitely not what I was hoping/expecting to hear. 24 hours can sure change a lot, that's for sure. Anyways, contractions have stopped since 7am and they have lowered the magnesium and I am feeling much more alive and well than I was this morning. The hope is for them to move me out of L&D tomorrow to I want to say anti-natal but I can guarantee you that is wrong just can't think of the correct term, but basically the floor to keep me pregnant, with a bit less monitoring. If you could send me some t&ps I would whole-heartily appreciate it.
Stay there, little girl! Janelle, keep us updated. When is your due date? I'm thinking of you and sweet Selah.
Three months from today - 9/27. Thanks everyone. I have been moved up to the anti-partum/high risk floor for hospital bed rest so hopefully I can just be here for a long time.

This sounds like good news. Stay strong & keep cooking. We'll be thinking of you.

Stay strong... A friend of mine ended up in a similar situation and while she said it was the longest months of her life she would never give up her 2 blessings that came from her extended hospital stay.

T&P for you and your little girl!! Also for your husband. I only had to do 4 days of hospital bed rest and I think it was harder on my husband than it was on me. I hope you are there for a very long time! And I also hope that you're done with the magnesium. That stuff was miserable and made me so out of it that I don't really remember Evie's first day
