I started to work out more "hardcore" than I ever have today. I worked with a personal trainer and did some squats, sumo squats with a 15# weight, lunges, and a few machines for ab work. My knees (mostly left) has been trying to give out since I did the lunges today. I walked downstairs to change the laundry and thought I was going to fall. Upstairs isn't bad, just going down. Should I be concerned or see if it resolves itself?
It was a cover up of a smaller tat I had. When this was finished DH was like.. "I didn't expect it to be SO BIG!" but he got used to it. I want another if I manage to lose the weight I am trying to lose, but not positive what yet. I have a couple ideas I have been throwing around.
Is it clicking or painful? If not, it could be just muscle fatigue. If it is clicking or painful there could be some meniscus involvement or patellofemoral malalignment . It's harder for the quad to control the going down the stairs motion than it is for going up the stairs. Make sure when you are doing the squats and lunges that you are maintaining good hip/knee alignment (don't let knee go to the inside). Make sure you are stretching the ITB too (rolling over the roll at the gym will help).
Its not clicking or painful, just very wobbly. Wobbly to the point that I told FSIL that if she hears me tumble down the stairs in the morning to come check and make sure I am ok :S DH will be at work by the time I leave.

Then I vote muscle fatigue. Good luck with the workin out!
