Reading the various "what got you pregnant/how long did it take?" threads, I noticed some of you drank one or all of the above liquids while TTC. What's the deal?
Also, on a semi-related note, does anyone know if the Sudafed I just took for a 2-day sinus headache is probably going to knock me out of the running this month? I'm ovulating this week. Since I recall taking Sudafed to finally dry me up when I was super-engorged post-weaning DD, I am going to assume it probably also dries up CM. At this point, I've been so aching & miserable I can't even have sex, so maybe it doesn't really matter.
Sudafed will dry out your CM a little bit and make it more difficult to get pregnant. I actually took mucinex to get pregnant because it thins your CM. Maybe you could conteract the sudafed with that.

Green tea is supposed to increase EWCM. Some women see it, some don't. There's some research that suggests green tea blocks the absorption of folic acid, so people recommend drinking it CD1-O.
Robitussin (no letters after the name) is also supposed to increase CM. The debate about taking it usually centers around taking a medicine for off-label use. I think that people recommend taking it in FW only.
And Pom juice is also supposed to thicken uterine lining. So you'd take it from O until +HPT or CD1. Pineapple core is also used for this purpose as well.
As always, if you're supplementing to help with TTC, be sure to mention these to your doctor.

I honestly don't know, but I sincerely doubt it's effective enough to knock you out of the running if all of the other stars have aligned for you this month.
If someone told me that they were using Sudafed as a means of BC I would give it a :-|. But that's basically the converse of what you're asking.

Thank you for making me laugh! No, I would not consider Sudafed an effective form of BC.

If you're worried about it, you could use Pre Seed. It's a lube that isnsupposed to mimic the good cervical mucus. DH and I used when TTC because at the time i took a daily Zyrtec which really dris me out. Not sure how you'd find that in Paris though!
