International stuff on Itunes?

I must not be doing this right. I've been trying to rent French movies through Itunes, but they don't seem to be in the Itunes database. (Or I just get a random podcast of the trailer.) Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there a way to switch your settings or is Itunes entirely U.S. based?

iTunes is not entirely US based. You could try and set up a second account name that is French based and with a French form of payment and you might have a different selection of movies.

I'm just looking at it for you...

Firstly, under films on my itunes it says films only available in selected countries...

so I'm looking more under itunes store...

Under films, scroll down to the very bottom and in the fourth column the bottom option is "Change Country". I have just selected France (I'm in Ireland) and now getting French film options...

I had to buy an iTunes gift card in the UK and change that to my payment method, in order to buy UK stuff on iTunes.
