I knew they were going to make Christina win the debate! And I think that, eventually, they're going to make her win the election. That's what I'm not liking so much about Parenthood lately, the outcomes of the story lines are so predictable!
The practical side of me is making me not understand completely Amber's wedding. Is she working now? and her fiance? who's going to pay for the wedding? I don't think that Sarah could afford it, so who is footing the bill? So many questions for the practical viewer, haha!
I don't really like Joel and Jasmine right now. Joel seems too focused in his work and being the powerful member of the marriage, that he can't see that Julia is truly unhappy. Jasmine, as usual, is very controlling.
I hate how everything always works out for everyone. I like the Christina character, but wished they would have killed her character off because it would have created a conflict that we have never seen on that show before. Everything always works out. I'm getting kind of tired of it.

I was irked at a lot of the characters in this episode. In what relationship does one partner say, "We're getting a new car. You have no say in this decision. Also we're trading in YOUR car. No say in that, either."
And, I'm not usually a fan of Zeke's character, but I felt like Camille handled the situation poorly. He (finally) made some sort of effort to consider her wants. Instead of being all, "I'm pissed you didn't love the condo that I should've known you wouldn't like, I'm going to Paris, buh-bye!" She should've said, "look, you and I have different dreams at this stage. Lets keep our house so you have your dream. Lets also go on vacation (alone or together) so that I get my dreams, too."
Oh! And that situation with Julia and that other guy. Oy.
Look at me being an expert at marriage lol.
bunnysmom Amber works at the luncheonette still, I think. I actually like that they're making Joel assertive because I felt like he was such a pushover in past seasons.
Its still bugging me that they never acknowledge that Hattie exists.

The whole car thing bothered me too. Things like that are why most people dislike Jasmine. Crosby should have said, ok to the van but only if we trade the bug. I don't think that would have been unreasonable.
And yes, they don't actually have to show Haddie, but at least mention her. Its like they forgot they had another daughter. Just ridiculous.
Julia getting up and leaving dinner abruptly when his wife came home made it so obvious and awkward. Like, if she didn't get up and act all weird, it wouldn't have been that bad. Why did she make a scene like that? So dumb. I keep calling him "Roy," since I know him from The Office and I can't remember this character's name.
YES. We were out campaigning, the kids were hungry, sorry this was unexpected, here have a plate. NBD. But the way they handled that.... way to make it look like you're up to no good.

YES! We talk about this all the time. It's SO weird. Kristina said something during the campaign about having 3 kids, and we looked at each other like "Haddie lives!!"
I agree that Julia made that dinner SO awkward. It didn't have to be a big deal at all.
Yes on Hattie! They could at least pretend to call her or something. I'm hating where the Julia/Joel storyline is going. I don't like how she kept playing the other guys voicemail and how she called him. Also very awkward last week when the wife came in and they stood up and left. So weird. And why is Amber working at the Luncheonette? She hasn't been there in such a long time and now she's suddenly coming up with good ideas?
I can't handle the constant talking over each other in this show.....it drives me crazy how the director has them layer their dialogue and interrupt each other. I don't know, I don't have, nor have I seen, many conversations like this in real life and I assume "making it like real life" is what they're going for. I find myself just pressing "MUTE" for a minute to get relief!

This makes me crazy, too, because I can't focus on what they're saying quite as well. However, this is definitely prevalent in my real life. Particularly during fights or when something exciting is going on. My family is terrible at all talking at the same time! Gives me a headache, but I love them anyway.
Zeke is pissing me off with the whole Camille going to Italy thing. He wasn't invited because when she told him she wanted to travel and that she has never left the country, he blew her off! He told her that he had been out of the country and it was no big deal. I don't blame her for leaving his cranky ass home!
