I've had a crazy week & wanted to AW to someone..

Sunday - 1/2 marathon with DH. Had an awesome time & felt great all day. Beat my previous PR by ~15 mins.. was on track for 30 min PR but DH's knee was bothering him so we slowed way down.

oh yea... remember our "quilt along" from last spring? I've been working on it some more. I think the top is almost 1/2 done.

Congrats on the 1/2. I'm hoping to so one this fall.
The house looks great - especially with the bushes gone.

Congrats on the race. I only run if someone is chasing me (even then, I'd probably just give up) so I admire those of you who actually enjoy the sport.

Love the B/A of the house. Our front yard is being relandscaped as we speak so I'll share when it is done. What a mess right now!!!

Which 1/2 do you hope to do? one in FL? If you're faster than me (not hard..) here's a great one in Naples the Sunday of MLK day weekend every year. I don't do that one b/c I'm terrified of being last, but DH & my dad love it.

I hated those bushes since the day we bought the house.. 6 years later & they're finally GONE! I'm almost happier about that than the driveway.. lol.

I'm really happy with the colors on that quilt top... I just hope I can finish at some point before winter and be happy with the warmth of the quilt in that room. (it's drafty in there.. my toes are always freezing)

Nope. Not in FL. I'm in NH. Not sure which one I might want to do yet. I'm just trying to get through triathlon season first!

DH liked Portland Maine's 1/2 except for the bridge "of doom".

If you want to travel, I highly recommend Portland OR's (oct) 1/2 or VA beach (sept)

Thanks for the tips! I went to school in ME and I think I know some friends that have done that race.

Also, I tried getting an avatar like a million times, but I can't get it to work no matter what I try.

My siggy pic has my girls in the dresses, I made for my cousins wedding. I've been meaning to post them for awhile. I love this new forum. I can use my mac and picture program.

I was working on my mac at home where I can copy and paste links no problem. I was taking a pic from shutterfly. I also tried tiny pic and resizing it, etc. Now I'm on my work computer which is a PC and I can't even figure out how to copy and paste links with this dang thing.

Your house looks great. We need to replace our driveway and as much as I'm dreading the $$$ I can't wait to see it looking good again!

Love the quilt too! I attempted the quilt along. I got as far as buying the fabric. lol!
